I write about typography and the history of books. My forthcoming book, Remarkable Renaissance Books (2025), takes a closer look at groundbreaking and beautiful books from the early centuries of European printing. My first non-fiction book is a novel set in the Middle Ages and the far distant future, and tentatively titled, The Book of Hours.
